The A.W. Bodine-Sunkist Memorial Foundation Scholarship is now open for applications for the 2026-2027 academic year. The scholarship is available to students who have a personal or family connection to agriculture in Arizona or California.

Since its founding in 1985, the foundation has provided almost 300 scholarships, focusing on supporting students involved in farming, including many first-generation college attendees. The scholarship was established to honor Arthur W. Bodine, a former director at Sunkist.

“Sunkist is proud to play a role in the success of these outstanding students,” according to the organization.

The number of scholarships awarded each year changes, with selection based on financial need, grade point average, recommendations, and an essay. High school seniors planning to enter college in 2026 and current undergraduate students are eligible if they meet agricultural, academic, and financial criteria.

Applications must be submitted by November 21, 2025. More information can be found on the A.W. Bodine – Sunkist Scholarship page.
