The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) has announced openings on the Registered Service Agency Advisory Committee. The department is seeking individuals to fill these vacancies in order to support its work overseeing registered service agencies throughout the state.

“The Registered Service Agency Advisory Committee plays a vital role in advising CDFA on issues related to weights and measures,” said a spokesperson for the department. “We encourage qualified individuals to apply and contribute their expertise.”

The committee provides guidance to the CDFA on matters that impact registered service agencies, which are responsible for ensuring accuracy in commercial weighing and measuring devices across California.
