A new recipe released on Mar. 31 introduces a simple way to make organic flatbread using a microwave, offering an alternative to traditional bread baking that can be time-consuming and requires specialized equipment.

The method aims to help people who want healthy, organic food but have limited time for meal preparation. By using pantry staples and skipping the oven, the recipe provides a quicker approach for those seeking convenient homemade options.

The recipe calls for organic sprouted wheat flour, maple syrup, olive oil, hot water, salt, and optional additions like garlic or raisins with cinnamon. After mixing and kneading the dough by hand for several minutes, it is divided into six portions and rolled out before being microwaved for about 25 seconds on each side. The result is warm flatbread that can be eaten as-is or customized with additional flavors such as garlic or cinnamon raisin.

Suggestions include serving the flatbread alongside soups or stews, using it as a wrap with vegetables or chicken, making mini pizzas by adding sauce and cheese before microwaving, or cutting it into strips for dipping in sauces. The process allows for multiple servings to be made quickly when needed.

The release also highlights that certified organic products are always non-GMO and support broader environmental goals beyond simply avoiding genetically modified organisms. Organic certification prohibits genetic engineering due to concerns about its impact on ecosystems and biodiversity while promoting practices that enhance soil fertility and ecological balance.

The new microwave flatbread recipe seeks to demonstrate how preparing wholesome food at home can be both easy and adaptable.
