Foster Farms has announced that it will award 25 scholarships of $1,000 each as part of its 2016 Scholarship Program. The scholarships are available to students who meet specific criteria.
According to the company, applicants must be enrolled in a four-year university or college and have completed at least one full year of courses at the time they apply. Students are required to maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and be enrolled in at least 12 units or the equivalent. In addition, eligibility is limited to those whose parent or guardian is a current Foster Poultry Farms employee.
Applicants must submit a presentation letter, two letters of reference, and their most recent transcript. Students may apply for the scholarship each year they qualify. All application packages must be received by Monday, July 11, 2016.
