Foster Farms announces 25 scholarships for children of employees

Foster Farms has announced that it will award 25 scholarships of $1,000 each as part of its 2017 scholarship program. The scholarships are available to students who meet several criteria, including enrollment in a four-year university or college and completion of at least one full year of courses by the time they apply.

To be eligible, applicants must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 units or the equivalent. In addition, their parent or guardian must currently work for Foster Poultry Farms. The application process requires submission of a completed application form, a presentation letter, two letters of reference, and a copy of the most recent transcript.

Students who continue to meet the qualifications may apply for the scholarship each year. All applications must be sent via email to scholarships@fosterfarms.com by Monday, July 10, 2017.
