Foster Farms has launched a new line of pre-cut, marinated, and frozen chicken products called Sauté Ready. The company announced that the new range includes chicken breast pieces and strips that are pre-marinated and can be cooked directly from the freezer without thawing. These products are now available at major retailers across the West Coast.

The Sauté Ready line features three flavors: Garlic Herb, Fajita, and Asian Style. Each variety is seasoned with spices inspired by Italian, Mexican, or Asian cuisines. The chicken is cut into bite-sized pieces or strips to allow for easy preparation in various dishes such as stir fries or salads. The product comes in a 28-ounce resealable bag, providing seven servings per package.

“Home cooks don’t always have time to create a meal from scratch but still crave the satisfaction – and taste – of a home cooked meal,” said Foster Farms Vice President of Marketing Greta Janz. “Sauté Ready chicken is a perfect staple for families to keep on hand for quick, healthy mid-week dinners.”

According to Foster Farms, the chicken is all-natural, low in fat (98 percent fat free), high in protein (21 grams per serving), and does not contain added hormones or steroids. The company states that these products maintain tenderness and juiciness after cooking.

Foster Farms developed the three marinade options based on consumer preferences for distinct flavors. The brand suggests using Sauté Ready as an easy way to add ethnic-inspired tastes to meals without preparing marinades from scratch.

Each flavor includes three suggested recipes printed on the packaging. For example, Fajita Marinated Chicken Breast Strips can be used for homemade fajitas or tacos; Garlic Herb Marinated Chicken Breast Pieces are recommended for dishes like Skillet Lasagna or Chicken Alfredo; and Asian Style Marinated Chicken Breast Pieces can be incorporated into stir fries or lettuce cups.

The suggested retail price ranges from $7.99 to $9.99 depending on location. Additional information about nutrition facts and coupons is available at http://www.fosterfarms.com.

Foster Farms has been family-owned since its founding in 1939 and produces poultry products throughout California’s Central Valley and the Pacific Northwest. Its fresh chicken carries the American Humane Certified seal, indicating adherence to animal welfare standards.

The company emphasizes food safety practices for consumers preparing poultry at home, recommending an internal cooking temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit measured by a meat thermometer.
