Foster Farms launches scholarship program for children of employees

Foster Farms has announced the opening of its 2020 Scholarship Program, which will provide 25 scholarships of $1,000 each to eligible students. The program is open to students who are currently enrolled in a four-year university or college and have completed at least one full year of coursework at the time they apply. Applicants must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 units or the equivalent.

Eligibility for the scholarship also requires that the applicant’s parent or guardian is a current employee of Foster Poultry Farms. To complete their application, students need to submit a presentation letter, two letters of reference, and a copy of their most recent transcript. Students can reapply each year if they continue to meet the criteria.

The deadline for submitting application packages is Monday, July 6, 2020.
