Foster Farms has announced a voluntary recall of certain corn dog products due to the possible presence of wooden stick fragments in the batter. The recall is being conducted in cooperation with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as a precautionary measure.
According to Foster Farms, “Out of an abundance of caution, and at the request of, and in cooperation with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), a voluntary recall has been initiated for select Foster Farms Corn Dogs due to the potential presence of pieces of wooden stick within the batter portion of the products. This precautionary measure is being taken to maintain the highest standards of product quality and consumer safety.”
Consumers are advised to check their freezers for any affected products and not consume them if they are part of the recall. The recalled items were produced at Plant Code P-6137B and include various types and package sizes such as Foster Farms Honey Crunchy Corn Dogs, Chicken Corn Dogs, Whole Grain Chicken Corn Dog, Gluten Free Corn Dogs, Jumbo Corn Dogs, Maple Flavored Pancake Wraps, among others. The use by dates on these products range from July 30, 2025 through August 4, 2026.
