Fresh Express announced on May 5 the launch of its Fresh Start to Summer Challenge, a 14-day event running from May 11 to May 24 that offers daily prompts, meal inspiration, and opportunities for participants to win prizes.

The challenge aims to encourage people to make simple choices that support fresh eating habits as summer approaches. Participants will receive new ideas each day for meals or snacks, with an emphasis on easy-to-follow suggestions that fit into everyday routines.

According to Fresh Express, “The Fresh Start to Summer Challenge is a 14-day experience built around simple prompts that make fresh eating feel easy, enjoyable, and realistic for everyday life.” The company said the event is designed not around perfection but rather about “making small, simple choices that help you feel inspired heading into summer.”

Participants are invited to join the challenge for “14 days of easy inspiration,” including “simple prompts that fit real life,” and “a chance to win prizes.” The company said it hopes the program will provide a fun reason for people to stay motivated while discovering new meal ideas or refreshing their routines.

Fresh Express produces about 40 million pounds of salad each month and reaches more than 20 million portions weekly. It manages regional farms and facilities across multiple U.S. regions and focuses on sustainability through reduced plastic use, lower emissions equivalent to removing 200,000 cars from roads annually, improved water conservation efforts, and industry-leading food safety practices—all according to the official website.

The challenge begins on May 11. Those interested can visit www.freshexpressfreshstartchallenge.com on the start date for more information or participation details.
