Grimmway Produce Group announced a leadership change with Jeff Huckaby transitioning from CEO to Chief Agricultural Officer so he can focus fully on farming operations. Ken Silveira will become CEO after nearly four decades in fresh produce industry leadership roles.

Grimmway Produce Group has expanded into Minnesota by acquiring Fresha’s Morris facility. This move aims at strengthening year-round carrot supply while supporting local growers.

Grimmway Produce Group has appointed Karen White as Vice President of Marketing Operations. White brings extensive experience in fresh food marketing to support the company’s expansion efforts. Her role will focus on strengthening branding strategies and driving growth.

EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin toured Grimmway Produce Group’s California facilities on Feb. 28. Company leaders discussed agricultural stewardship and food safety practices with him during his visit. The event emphasized collaboration between government officials and producers in strengthening U.S. agriculture.

Grimmway Produce Group has introduced an Organic Bite-Size Potato Program under its Cal-Organic Farms brand. The new line offers six varieties of certified organic potatoes aimed at providing convenience and supporting retail growth. Nationwide distribution is expected throughout early 2026.
