Rice winter grower meetings set for January with CE credits available

The annual Rice Winter Grower Meetings are scheduled for January 21-23, 2026, offering an opportunity for rice growers to earn continuing education credits. The meetings will take place in several locations across Northern California.

On Wednesday, January 21, sessions will be held at the Evangelical Church in Richvale at 8:00 AM and at Willows Memorial Hall in Willows at 1:00 PM. On Thursday, January 22, meetings are set for the CIP Conference Room in Colusa at 8:00 AM and Veteran’s Hall in Yuba City at 1:00 PM. The final session will be on Friday, January 23, at the Yolo County Farm Bureau in Woodland beginning at 8:00 AM.

Participants can earn two Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) credits—0.5 each for Laws & Regulations and Aerial categories, plus one credit classified as Other. Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) credits are pending approval.
