Taylor Farms announced on March 10 the launch of a new protein-forward product platform, aiming to meet the rising demand for high-protein diets among consumers. The company, recognized as North America’s leading producer of ready-to-eat salads and healthy fresh foods, is introducing a range of products that combine fresh vegetables with protein-rich dressings, dips, and toppings.

The introduction of this new line reflects changing consumer preferences toward functional foods that support nutrition goals. Bryan Jaynes, Senior Vice President of Product at Taylor Farms, said, “Consumers want more than just fresh — they want functional. As nearly everyone is increasing their protein intake these days, this new product line combines the power of protein and fresh produce to help more people achieve their nutrition goals.”

Charis Neves, Vice President of Product and Innovation at Taylor Farms, added, “To provide salad and snack lovers with more protein, we created a first-of-its-kind platform to provide protein in snacks, salad kits, and bowls. We added whey protein to the dressings and dips, increased the amount of cheese, and included protein in the crunchy toppings.”

The new platform features 11 products now available nationwide. These include Protein Chopped Salad Kits such as Protein Caesar (21 grams per bag), Protein Southwest (20 grams), Green Goddess (21 grams), as well as mini versions with 10 grams each. The Protein Salad Bowls offer up to 23 grams per serving with ingredients like grilled chicken and chickpea chips. Power Snacks combine vegetables with cheese or trail mix alongside creamy whey protein dips.

Taylor Farms utilizes AI-driven monitoring in its processing facilities for real-time issue detection according to the official website. The company also employs a multi-stage SmartWash system for pathogen control in its produce according to the official website. To further ensure food safety standards that exceed regulations via third-party validations according to the official website, Taylor Farms works with over 280 family-owned farms and academic institutions on research collaborations aimed at improving produce safety according to the official website.

Taylor Farms provides an array of fresh offerings including salad kits, bowls, blends, meal kits, snacks and vegetable trays as detailed on the official website. The company partners with family farms to ensure high safety standards through innovative washing systems and monitoring technology according to the official website.

Looking ahead, Taylor Farms plans additional launches within this product platform supported by a national marketing campaign across social media channels and retail promotions.
