Taylor Farms announced on March 31 the launch of Taylor Farms ZERO, a new product platform featuring seed-oil-free salads and snacks. The company said the line responds to growing consumer demand for food options without seed oils such as soybean or canola.

The introduction of these products addresses increasing interest from consumers who seek alternative dressing and dip ingredients and want more transparency about what is in their food. Bryan Jaynes, Senior Vice President of Product, said, “Produce consumers are asking for more alternative dressing and dip options, along with greater ingredient transparency. As consumers are increasingly discerning and seeking specific food attributes, this demand is driving the category forward and we’re committed to empowering them with more choices.”

The Taylor Farms ZERO line includes several new items: Seed-Oil-Free Aged Parmesan Salad Kit made with avocado oil croutons and olive oil vinaigrette; Seed-Oil-Free Italian Chopped Salad Kit that contains zero grams of added sugar; Seed-Oil-Free Tropical Crunch Chopped Salad Kit featuring island-style croutons made with avocado oil; and a Veggies & Dip Snack Pack using cheesy parmesan dip made with olive oil. Charis Neves, Vice President of Innovation and Product, said, “By using avocado oil with its mild nutty flavor and olive oil with its distinctive full-bodied appeal, we are incorporating new non-seed-oil ingredients for consumers to enjoy.”

According to the official website, Bruce Taylor represents notable personnel at Taylor Farms as a third-generation fresh produce farmer. The company operates as a family-owned enterprise rooted in Salinas Valley’s produce heritage. It maintains state-of-the-art production facilities across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Western Europe while employing over 24,000 team members who deliver millions of fresh servings weekly across North America.

Taylor Farms has also earned TRUE zero waste certification at multiple facilities for sustainability efforts according to its official website. The company supports community initiatives focused on youth development, education, health programs, and partners closely with family farmers.

Looking ahead, Taylor Farms plans to expand its seed-oil-free offerings nationwide in coming months.
