UC Cooperative Extension will hold in-person training sessions on nitrogen management for row crops on March 3 in Yuba City and March 4 in Modesto. The workshops are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., followed by lunch. Attendees can earn three hours of CCA and three hours of INMTP continuing education credits.
Both events will cover the same agenda and speakers, allowing participants to choose the location that suits them best. The sessions are free and include lunch.
Topics addressed during the workshops include practical tools for nitrogen management, sources and application considerations, crop nitrogen budgeting and monitoring, nitrogen and irrigation management, and soil sampling for nitrogen management.
