As the year comes to a close, the UC Master Gardener Program’s Statewide Communications Team is encouraging its members to reflect on their outreach efforts and prepare for the busy season of charitable giving. In the December issue of “Rooted in Marketing,” the team offers resources aimed at helping program participants share their accomplishments and invite year-end support.

The newsletter includes ideas for December content, advice on effective holiday messaging, strategies for highlighting impact during year-end fundraising campaigns, and information about upcoming and previous training opportunities. The communications team also reminds members that support is available through weekly office hours, a private Facebook group, or by email.

“Your dedication to telling our story matters. Every post, newsletter, and event you’ve shared has helped extend our reach and strengthen connections in your communities. Thank you,” wrote Melissa & Barbra from the UC Master Gardener Program Statewide Communications Team.

A digital version of the newsletter can be accessed online at https://conta.cc/4iw8BaE.
